Emily Dornblazer, DMD

Meet Dr. Dornblazer
The best part of being a dentist is having the opportunity to help people achieve their oral health goals, whether that involves maintaining their current health, regaining function, alleviating discomfort, or improving aesthetics. We will work with you to develop a plan to help you achieve your goals.
I enjoy getting to know all the different people who come into the practice. Some people have anxiety about visiting the dentist, and my desire is to make my patients’ experience as pleasant as possible through compassionate care.
Education and continuing education
I began my formal education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where
I earned my Bachelor of Arts. Continuing on to the University of Kentucky
College of Dentistry, I completed my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. My
post-graduate residency for Advanced Education in General Dentistry was
fulfilled through the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. This
residency program was given the first and only perfect score by the American Dental
Association Commission on Dental Accreditation. In my residency, I gained
advanced surgical experience on dental implants.
I completed one of the most extensive courses on dental implants in the country
endorsed by the International Congress
of Oral Implantologists. Due to my training and experience in placing
and restoring dental implants, I have earned Fellowship in the International
Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Outside the office
Born in Charleston, West Virginia, I moved to Witchita Falls, Texas, where my father served in the Medical Corps with the U.S. Air Force for four years. We then relocated to Charlotte, where my parents still reside. I currently live in Burlington with my wonderful rescue dogs Riley & Hannah. I am a “foodie” and avid music and movie lover. My free time is spent gardening, hiking, and being with family and friends.
